I thought this power cord was a great deal until I actually started to use it. It is thicker than the one which came with my Compaq Presario (another awful product), so I thought it would last longer. However, since it is about two feet shorter, it is difficult to position it in many places so that it is not tugging. It only took about a week of use before it started acting up–being very positional and not maintaining the power connection. I have to constantly check it while I am using the computer to verify that it is working, or the computer shuts down with a dead battery.

description said it was compatible with Presario C700. it is NOT. the part that plugs into laptop is too long and will not stay plugged in.

waste of money.

A great product for a great price. I was hesistant not buying a charger directly from Compaq but that would have cost me triple the cost. The product was shipped promptly and works great, no issues.
